Description
A lot of four antique semi porcelain blue and white teapots. Three of the four are Yokode Kyusu teapots or Arita ware, a traditional Japanese teapot mainly used for brewing green tea. Items feature a right sided handle and bright polychrome or cobalt blue hand painted decoration. Circa late 19th to early 20th century. One of the teapots is more modern and has a modernist geometric shape and a high semicircular handle. Also painted blue and white. Marked on the bottom. Circa mid to late 20th century. Collectible Oriental Asian Decor, Tableware And Tea Service, Japanese Pottery.
