A rare Napier Company Art Deco Silver-Plated Brass and Cork Rooster-Shaped Cocktail Shaker, Meriden, Connecticut, circa 1945. Spherical stopper featuring the comb, eyes, beak, and wattles, with cork to the underside, and the spherical body with applied wings to either side and handle to rear. Good vintage condition with patina, some wear to handle, and some dents to the head. Measures approx. 9 5/8" high x 7 1/4" long x 5-3/4" deep (approx. 24.4cm x 18.4cm x 14.6cm). Impressed manufacturer's mark to underside of stopper 'Napier Silver Plate Pat. Pend.'.
