Black Forest carved walnut tobacco jar, late 19th c., barrel-form jar on pie crust base, and fitted with ceramic liner, lid with carved bear finial, the bear with inset glass eyes, seated and scratching chin with raised back paw, approx 9.75"h, 6"diam, 3lbs **Provenance: A prominent Terrytown, Austin, Texas estate**
