Kanute Felix is a Swedish & American Artist born 1852 in Sweden, moved to America. Felix, who resided in New Jersey in 1900 and later had several children, including Grace and Mamie, and his occupation was listed as artist. Other research finds Kanute Felix listed as the Founder & President of the Florida Conservatory of Art and Music in Miami Florida, he is known as a marine painter and his works have sold in fine gallarys and very popular auction houses throughout the United States.
