Description

Model 1858 pattern officer's eagle Hardee hat insignia made of black velvet with gold/silver bullion embroidery and enhanced with sequins and jaceron. Eagle given black eye and red mouth. Velvet fold over embroidered to brown buckram with steel loops for affixing to hat.

Mint condition officer’s Hardee hat eagle device, featuring an eagle and 13 stars expertly worked in gold and silver bullion wire on black velvet.
