Louis XV Style Onyx Top Giltwood Console Table, 20th c., the molded shaped stone top above an acanthus and foliate apron, with pierced rocaile stretcher, on cabriole legs with raised scroll feet, H.- 39 in., W.- 51 in., D.- 17 in. Provenance: The Estate of Jay Calamia, property from the Dufour-Plassan House, New Orleans, Louisiana.
Condition
Structurally sound. Onyx top with minor chips, nicks, abrasions, and imperfections from use. Minor shrinkages in gilt painted surface with scattered minor losses, minor touch-up, consistent with use. A lovely example.
