This series signified the establishment of the new key theme of ukiyo-e, the landscape (fukei-ga), focusing on famous views (meisho-e).
There are several varied color schemes, changing the mood of the scene, and multiple reprints. This version, on the toned paper with saturated colors, balances the dusk and the moonlight.
