Japanese. 1930s. A rare group of Disney collectibles. The long-billed Donald Duck was one of the original Disney characters, with early examples of the long-billed toys being very hard to find. Elmer Elephant is equally as rare, as Elmer was considered a minor Disney character with very few examples of Elmer Elephant toys being produced and even fewer survivors. These pieces were licensed to be produced in Japan, where production costs were cheaper, for the Walt Disney Company and the American toy market. Marked, "Walt Disney", on reverse of all pieces. Marked, "Made in Japan", on some cloth tapes.

Condition
Overall good condition with usewear and minor paint fading present. Elmer Elephant's nose does not completely retract.
