10” x 12” Posed upon a wooden music box with gilt-framed rose fabric inlay, cloth carrying strap, are two bisque head dolls with glass eyes, painted lashes, tapered brows, closed mouth, wooden block torso, lower limbs and hands, painted shoes and stockings and original silk costumes; when wound the dolls begin to play their instruments Commentary: Circa 1890 toy, good condition though movements a bit slow
