A Group of Three Small Table Boxes, First Half 19th Century. Comprising an American walnut and tulip poplar dovetailed box; an American fruitwood and rosewood inlaid mahogany jewelry box; and an inlaid octagonal tea caddy. (3)
Dimensions: Height of smallest 4 3/4in; width 7 1/2in; depth 5 1/2in; Height of largest 6in; width 11 3/4in; depth 6 1/2in.
Provenance:Â Property from the Collection of C. Thomas Attix Jr., East Windsor, New Jersey.
Condition
The tea caddy retaining an old, dry and dark surface. Shrinkage and movement and lifting to veneers. lacking interior lid. With key.
The inlaid jewelry box with a very dark, dry and alligatored surface. Warping to the lid. No key.Â
The walnut dovetailed box with shrinkage and age cracks. No key.
