Description
A late 18th century example with duck feet, pear form body, scrolled handle and a scalloped top edge. James Duffel was active in Georgetown, South Carolina, working 1790-1800; New York City, working 1801-1802 and Fredericksburg, Virginia, circa 1801-(?)
Dimensions: 4 1/4" x 3", the height is 4 1/2". The approximate weight is 4.1 troy ounces.
Provenance: Property from the Collection of C. Thomas Attix Jr., East Windsor, New Jersey.
Condition
Possible restoration to the rear foot (appears to have once pushed through the body). Â
