An antique 19th Century English adjustable pole fire shield screen, crafted in the Georgian Regency style, features a baluster form wood pole atop a trio of curving legs. The adjustable oval wood fire shield showcases a needlepoint figural landscape design under glass, depicting a detailed romantic sylvan forest scene with lovers and companions. No apparent maker's marks.

Dimensions: 57.5 X 16 X 16 in.

Condition: Good to fair overall antique condition showing average age related surface wear with the frame of needlepoint having a prior restoration. Estate fresh to the market.
