Meiji period (1868-1912), a large porcelain vase with frilly rim hand painted in overglaze enamels with two peacocks amidst large peony blooms, drilled and fitted as a large table lamp with single light fixture, set into a carved wooden base, comes together with tall fabric lampshade.
