A Liverpool Pottery Creamware Pitcher
circa 1790-1820, black transfer images with scenes and text designated to appeal to the American market, "Peace and Plenty" to one side and the reverse, a tall masted sailing ship, not signed.
9 1/4 in.
As soon as the war with America ended the British merchants began shipping manufactured goods, including creamware pitchers with patriotic decoration.
