Ancient Central Asia, Indus Valley, Harappan / Mohenjo-Daro civilization, ca. 2300 to 1900 BCE. A hand-built pottery bowl that rests upon a squat foot and features 5 broad, spade-shaped leaves with diagonally-striped halves that are enclosed within black-painted linear borders. Size: 3" Diameter x 2.25" H (7.6 cm x 5.7 cm)

Minor nicks and abrasions, with heavy earthen deposits within basin, and fading to exterior pigment, otherwise intact and very good. Nice remains of exterior decoration.
