Original woodblock print by Tomikichirô Tokuriki ?????? (1902-2000), titled ‘Kôbe Sanchikataun’ ??????????????????. A colourful woodblock print featuring a person looking at a statue of a female nude in a dynamic pose. Signed in pencil, and in the print. Colour on mulberry paper. Print:Height 20.5 cm, Width 20.5 cm. Passe-partout:Height 37.2 cm, Width 33.7 cm. In a very good original condition. The print is neatly secured at their upper corners on a passe-partout. CATALOGUE NOTE. Tomikichiro Tokuriki, born on March 22, 1902, in Kyoto, Japan, began his artistic journey under the guidance of his grandfather during his early years. His formal education in the arts commenced with a two-year preparatory class at the Kyoto School of Arts and Crafts, followed by four years of intensive training. Subsequently, he embarked on a three-year program at the Kyoto College of Art, culminating in his graduation from Kyoto Art College in 1923.
