late 20th century, porcelain figures hand painted in cobalt blue with details befitting a Chinese emperor and empress, seated with tiger skin draped over their chairs, wearing fine robes with dragon and peony, the symbols of the emperor and empress, each has an apocryphal six character Qianlong mark to the lower back.
