Description
Quality solid walnut English early Victorian mirrorback side cabinet on Aesthetic Movement style. Original bevelled glass to all three mirrors, ornate floral carvings, intact spindles and toppers, drawer key present, no door lock present.Remnants of original label from Mark Rowe & Sons, Exeter, England, placing the piece in 1860 to 1870. Rowe & Sons were prominent furniture makers, undertakers, storage warehouse operators, and auctioneers in Exeter, located in a prominent building.Lovely finish in excellent condition, ready for dining or gathering room, also suitable as hall table due to narrow depth.Beautiful example.
