Description
An ancient Greek archaic Kore head bronze sculpture. The head of Cora represents an example of the Greek idea of beauty with regular features and curly hair. The head is crowned with a diadem, and the ears have round earrings. Mounted on a square stand made of natural polished stone. Kore is a type of ancient Greek sculpture of the Archaic period depicting female figures, always of a young age. Kore shows a restrained archaic smile, which does not demonstrate emotion. It was the symbol of the ideal, transcending the hardships of the world. Ancient Historical Collectibles, Figures, Figurines, Statues, And Statuettes For Collectors.
