Near East, Persia (Iran), Nishapur area, ca. late 10th century to early 13th century CE. Two shallow pottery plates of discoid form, each with a floral pattern radiating out from the basin center as well as surfaces enveloped in lustrous, turquoise-hued glaze. Size of largest: 5.7" W x 1.2" H (14.5 cm x 3 cm)

Condition
Larger plate with stabilization to fissure on rim, and second plate with petite hole drilled through one area of basin/rim. Each with lovely glaze pigment and great iridescence.
