Description
Japanese, Meiji / Taisho Period, consisting of a circular lidded box centred by a relief carved image of a tiger measuring 1 5/8" high, a small lidded box (cracked) decorated in the round with motifs of rats at play, the (ill fitting) lid showing a rat eating a lotus blossom - measuring 1 5/8" high x 2 1/8" wide, together with an Okimono of a carpenter with a mallet at his feet, a rule in one hand, the other hand supporting a small figure of a divine being known as Ksitigarbha, head repaired, one element missing, measuring 2 1/2" high. This lot can not be shipped outside of Canada, Convention on International Trade of Endangered Species apply.
