Celadon Four-Clawed Dragon Vase, 18th Century.
This straight neck vase has a light aqua celadon glaze with a four-clawed dragon chasing a pearl amongst clouds on its body. The vase is approximately 14 1/4 inches in height. Condition: One small rust spot on body but otherwise in good condition.
Provenance: From a Washington DC estate, formerly in the collection of Mr. Marcel Baudez who was the French Consul General in Shanghai from November 1938 until May 1940 and the Fall of France to Nazi Germany.
