This was a wonderful auction. I met Bill in a cornfield at a sale run by another well known auctioneer. I was young and didn't know much but I was attracted by a sporting print against a table and was looking at it as Bill came by. We met and he explained the print to me. Then he said, we can buy it and split the profit. He told me he was starting an auction. Bill paid for the picture and took it away. He didn't even ask for me to pay my half. Then after awhile, the print did sell for $400 and I received a check for $200. After that I became good friends with Bill and his wife Andy. They worked hard and built a great auction. Honest as the day is long. Just really good people. So now I am 76 and I still have many "treasures" I purchased at their auctions. Any many memories from those years of my life. Won my item. Emails to auction house with questions about Lot & payment both before and after the auction were answered both expeditiously and courteously. Everything went smoothly.

As an international bidder the most important thing to me is to have some help with shipping from the auction house. Jenack really helped and I got my painting in a couple of days

The only issue was shipping. I paid Janeck immediately for the item. It took over a week for the shipper to pick up the item, and then I had to wait nearly a week more for it to be shipped. The cost for shipping the medium sized painting-nearly $250.00. I have dealt with UPS shippers before. Even with larger, more fragile items, I was never charged so much. Thus, beware.

Good people to deal with

I received three pieces of stoneware all packed in one box, one on top of another. Bottom jar, lot 0130 Clark jar busted. Waited over a month for a refund. Lot 0164 by another shipper one gallon red ware jug arrived busted, waiting on refund. If not for those two items I would give you five stars.

Best of the best. My experiences have always been wonderful. Dee does a great job making sure the customer experience is always above average.

Shipper was very responsive to questions but item arrived broken.
