Wow … no better treatment than Kodner. One of the Steuben goblets I purchased was shattered during shipping. Not only did this auction house find another, they paid for it and shipped it to me without charge. They reached out no less than 4 times to ensure things were right. Lots of other auction houses could learn from Kodner! Thanks for everything!

Fairly smooth process but poor description devalued the object. I had called wanting to know if damage existed and they took more photos but missed a giant 1/2-inch size indention on the object not seen in the photos. They knew little about the object they were selling. I called sending my own photos of their mistake (not the 1/2 inch indention) but they never changed the listing. Also, I was surprised at the extra charges. I knew about the buyer's premium, shipping expense and the use of a credit card ($24.97). I also assumed that insurance was included in the $82 shipping charge-it was not. Final result it cost me $684.14 for my winning bid of $425. Folks were pleasant but their attention to details needs improvement.

I have had the pleasure of winning auction lots with Kodner Galleries on several occasions and each time the process has been extremely easy. They are one of my favorites.

Kodner did everything right with my auction item. I was the one that had a concern with what I received, and I was wrong. But, the Kodner staff were patient and understanding, and more than helpful. Delighted working with them to my satisfaction.
