I have been doing business with Valkyrie Auctions for years now. Having dealt with other auction houses, my appreciation for Valkyrie continues to grow. Professionalism in showing & explaining items for bid, easy transition in the payment process, and quick shipment of items won... all on a regular and repeated basis... makes doing business with them a pleasure. Received Item. Payment and shipping process was easy process
I probably should have asked more questuons about the size of the item as it wasn't in the decription. When I received it was the size of my little finger nail. Not expecting that at all. Kinda chuckled, can't take out of the little zip lock it was in because it will get lost.

Shipped fast but packaged poorly
Items were not packaged well. Box was damaged on receipt and one item was loose inside. Could have been easily lost. At least wrap items in some paper to keep together and inside box. Otherwise good transaction and they did ship quickly.

Very Good Experience
Have purchased from them on more than one occasion and have enjoyed a very good experience overall with them. They respond quickly to inquiries. The fact that they guarantee authenticity is important to me. I have bid on other sites and have ended up with dubious items and there is no returns usually allowed. The only negative is that their auctioneer fee is on the high side. But otherwise they get a gold star.

dishonest seller
I won four lots. after bidding, the auction put up an invoice for all four items that I paid in full. but the auction house only sent me three items. we spent two weeks figuring out where one item was. during this time, different versions were voiced to me, ranging from separate delivery to the fact that the item was sent to another buyer by mistake. in the end it turned out that the item was allegedly sold on another site. and although the auction returned me the difference in cost, but the quality of service is disgusting. it's not an offense that I did not receive my lot, but how business is conducted by this auction. How can I bill two buyers for one item. the auction house's explanation that the online site is billing is a lie. I received emails directly from the auction listing all four items and the full price for them. how can you not find out in two weeks that the lot was sold to another buyer. and constantly tell different stories about the delivery. very unserious approach to business.

I will reiterate what we’ve explained to you several times already. There was no dishonesty whatsoever in regards to your situation. Due to an auction clerking error the item was sold on two different platforms. You lost the bid by $10. At first we thought that the item was put in another persons order by mistake and we informed you of this and apologized immediately. You were told the item was lost and that it was our fault, and that if we were able to track it down we would let you know. Your money was refunded immediately. Two weeks later we discovered the true error and informed you of what had actually happened. Nobody lied to you, ever. It was an unfortunate error and took us some time to discover the exact circumstances of what happened. After the auction things are very chaotic and sometimes these rare mistakes take time to investigate. The only reasonable complaint you have here is that it took us a bit of time to figure everything out. You claim we lied about the auction platforms automatically generating invoices after the auction. Like I explained to you previously, this is not a lie and is the reason it’s very easy for the same item to be invoiced twice after an auction clerking error. Cross referencing each individual invoice after an auction makes no sense because it’s such a rare error and is also not realistic based on the amount of time this would take. I repeat, you were never waiting on us to give you your money back and our initial explanation of what happened to the item in no way put the blame on anyone but us. So where is the dishonesty you speak of? The simple answer is that it doesn’t exist. You lost the auction for this particular item and we’ve showed you the winner’s invoice proving that you were not the high bidder. I understand the disappointment but it’s extremely childish for you to flat out lie about the circumstances of what actually happened.

TRUSTWORTHY KNOWLEDGEABLE HONEST!
As a client for 3yrs, this is my first ever review of this or any auction house. The experience is ALWAYS 5-STAR, with the rarity/quality/expertise, one of the finest & most lauded in the historical collections field. Preserving the past is paramount to our future — whether bright or grim-and Valkyrie has all the answers with experts that care. This is not a “take the money & run” situation. The more I read reviews before I even consider looking at the lots — let alone registering, the more fraud, deception & greed is apparent — SO THAT IS WHY I MUST GIVE PRAISE & HONOR to this Auctioneer who cares, with the highest standards BEFORE LISTING an item. It’s wonderful to have piece of mind when bidding/purchasing/winning/paying/waiting for the item, THEN-the treasure arrives and YOU are not disappointed — it is more exceptional in hand-many will be donated to a museum one day. The shipping situation depends on many factors — and Valkyrie does their utmost & since best to get it too you, ASAP. However, many mailing conditions can be out of one’s control. What is in control & Thee Most ESSENTIAL ISSUE is Authenticity (many w stated provenance) along with many photos & Honest descriptions/item conditions, that most houses skate around. In closing-with so many scammers & sharks out there, reading & then writing an Honest, thorough review only helps the entire community. No one wants to be scammed, but with more transparency & vetting — we can hope the big sharks will “swim away” into oblivion. Thank You, Again-VALKYRIE!! FIVE, well earned STARS *****
