I put in a minimum bid and a maximum bid. I won with my maximum bid but realized that no one bid except me and they billed me for my maximum bid. I think it was an error but never heard anything from them.

They charge you and DO NOT send your items. Steer clear. There are better houses. Stay away from these "people". Do not do business with. Dishonest. They owe me 373.75 or the coin. F U bastards.

Don’t buy from these guys over paid for items that were not pictured in auction. One month to get my items again not pictured in auction pics.

Coin looks better than photo shows

The Auction was Dec 25th. I paid the bill the same day. After 2 weeks, I messaged them. They said the post office was backed up. I finally get a shipment on January 22nd. I bought 6 coins for $4, 000. I only received 5 coins and 1 just free peace coin. I send pictures to show i didn't get the 1909 gold coin. They said they investigate. After 2 weeks, i asked again. They emailed a message that i would get a credit with them. I asked for a refund and followed up on the coin. Now, they will not respond to me. I sent LiveAuctioneers an email with all the same information and haven't received a response either. I have been ghosted and out $800 dollars plus premium.

Item was just as pictured and described. Great communication with fast trackable shipping. Highly recommended.

They don't automatically charge my cc like other auctions. Do, after very patiently explaining their process to me, they very quickly processed my transaction. I have participated in several more of those auctions. I am very happy with GSA

Didn’t answer phone calls, Didn’t return phone messages, coin was ready to ship and took over a week to get the post office. Will not bid on anything else

Knowing that the items being big on are “as is,” requires the buyer to have complete information about the auction items. For instance, whether or not things have been pre-opened or changed out, specifically having to do with sets Set whether they proof mint or otherwise. Not taking pictures of items. Also is a lack of clarity and communication and the degree to which informed decisions can make.

I have had several bad experiences with GSA. More cleaned coins that were deemed closely uncirculated or uncirculated or mint state grades. It doesn't matter when you find out the coins you buy from GSA have been cleaned. It appears that GSA is a clearing house for cleaned coins and coins that have been environmentally damaged. GSA is very un-responsive when you have an issue with what they run through their auctions. Further, LiveAuctioneers is of very little help. They don't hold their auction house to account or to any standard. They is no published rating for auction houses on LiveAuctioneers like eBay. It's a sneaky way to keep the buyers unaware of who they are buying from. after spending 10's of thousands of dollars on this platform, It's time to reconsider. I will not buy from Gold Standard Auctions ever again.

I wish an option would be added for 2 day shipping. A label was created very quickly. It took almost a week to pick up. I didn’t receive my item for 2 weeks. When I was concerned about my item potentially being lost I was told “we can’t control it after it leaves us”. Seriously??? lol
