Included, but not limited to, an impressive 17th century portrait of Lord Leppington with his dog (shown on cover, Lot 92), and other notable oeuvres d'art from listed artists (including outstanding male portraits and landscapes). This auction also includes fine militaria, such as a flintlock shotgun by Barbar of London, circa 1770, medals, edged weapons, and early (some rare) Nouvelle France maps, others showing English and/or American assets. Also included are slag glass lamps, fine scotch glassware, fine furniture (ex. a very fine double pedestal mahogany table, circa 1900), and writing boxes (ex. a very good Scottish box, circa 1870), a German toy train & Lionel, along with a small Austrian strong box, circa 1650. Of course, the Library sale is rounded-up with numerous pieces of silver, objets de vertu, fine porcelains, bronzes, clocks, and rugs. Thank you very much for your interest in our sale; we would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a fantastic summer 2023.
