Antique Quilt, c1900 Cracker Box block pattern in brown and off white measuring 76 inches by 76 inches. The brown was actually once a green and was unstable and has gone fugitive. 100 7.5 inch by 7.5 inch blocks, set straight, 10 by 10. Hand pieced and hand quilted. Cotton batting and a cotton shirting print backing. Edge is finished with the back being brought to the front, and applied by hand. In fair condition, some spots, and edge wear, and several repairs to the back. Along with a c1890s Brickworks pattern Comfort measuring 41 inches by 51 inches. Some earlier fabrics in this textile. Hand pieced, and hand tied. Cotton batting and a black with red print backing. Madder print binding applied by hand. Also in fair condition with lots of spots, fabric deterioration, split in the back by binding. In house Flat Rate Shipping is an estimate.
