KAZAK RUG: 5'3" X 7'6"
Circa 1900
Rust red field with several rows of alternating stylized blossoms and geometric medallions in peach, ivory and blue. Red, blue and ivory borders.
Provenance:
Property of a direct descendant of Thomas Jefferson, the contents of the Brick House at Coolidge Point, Manchester by the Sea, Massachusetts.

Condition
Random heavy where to pile particularly across center of carpet and one area in the field. There are other low spots, creases some minor re-pile etc. There may be some restoration work to pile at fringe ends.
