Marilyn Monroe's Personally Owned Monogrammed Black Fur Full Length Coat From the Collection of Kent Warner W/Notarized Letter of Provenance - This black full length fur coat was owned by iconic American actress, Marilyn Monroe. The coat is black fur with a black satin lining and red "MM" monogram in script on the inside lining. The coat was given by Marilyn to Hollywood costumer Kent Warner, who worked for MGM Studios and is known for 'liberating' props such as the iconic ruby red slippers of "The Wizard of Oz" and Humphrey Bogart's trench coat from "Casablanca". The dress will be accompanied by a typeset letter of provenance signed by Warner dated 6/17/1979, which was also notarized on that date. Measurements: bust-36", waist-30", shoulder to hem length-41" (measurements are approximate).
