Title: "River View" a drawing on cracker box by Lewis Smith

Provenance/Additional Info: This is "River View" a drawing on cracker box by Lewis Smith. It is 10" x 17" in very good condition - with the original slight folds of the cracker boxes. Writings include: "Ola Takes No Tip" "Lola Takes No Lip" "Pepsi Takes 5¢". Lewis lived most of his life in the woods of Ohio, alone after the death of his mother. Lewis Smith passed away in 1998. His drawing, writing, and painting on recycled paper, cardboard, and the walls of his house and buildings reflects his preoccupation with muscular women boxers and wrestlers, trains, time, and money. See his bio in the last photo here. Some of Lewis' work was done on cracker boxes. Crackers were a big part of his diet, and he then recycled the boxes into art. See his bio in the last photo here.
