Item Details

Description

"Philadelphia, From the Great Tree at Kensington, under which Penn made his Great Treaty with the Indians". Hand colored, engraved by J. Cartwright, London and published in 1801 by Atkins and Nightingale. Purchased from the Philadelphia Print Shop, with paperwork attached verso.

Dimensions: Sight is 18" x 23", the frame 25" x 30".

Provenance: From a Philadelphia collection.

Condition

Expected toning, otherwise appears to be in good condition, not examined out of the frame.
