Description
For your consideration is this Parfleche polychrome baby rattle attributed to the Plains Indians, cir. 1890. This baby rattle shows a Parfleche wrapped construction with a red clay painted dot pattern on the head of the rattle. The rattle is sewn with sinew. The condition of the baby rattle is good, with no tears. The measurements of this rattle are 4 1/2" x 2".
