Lot of five pieces from the 1860s: three receipts, a promissory note, and $500 bond signed by CTH Palmer, a banker, assayer, and Wells Fargo agent in the Folsom area in the 1860s. The American River Water and Mining Company was formed in 1854 to build a ditch to divert water from the North Fork of the American River providing water for drinking, irrigation and mining operations to areas that are near Folsom.
