This composition was a favorite of Curtis and was also common among the Taos painters, posing their subjects with pottery or baskets, wrapped in blankets, in forests, on river banks, and in front of their houses.

Condition

Very Good. Minor scratches, dents, small dark spots, and ink residue throughout plate surface. About 1/4" of tarnish near the edges in margins.
