The fine pair cinnabar lacquer vases, each modelled as a tall baluster body rising to a tall flaring neck, centered with a deftly carved a Guanyin seated in dhyanasana on a fabric-draped rocky outcrop surrounded by mountainous landscape, and flanked by a bottle with a willow branches, the body swathed in flowing robes and pendant jewels, the head crowned by a very elaborate headdress centered on a Buddha figure.
