A fantastic set of 4 polished aluminum candlesticks designed by Alessandro Mendini in 2002 for Alessi, the Italian housewares powerhouse. Each candleholder consists of a base, stem piece, and top, which screw together. There are two different size of stem pieces allowing for an endless combination of sizes.
In good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use, including marking to metal especially on tops and bases (see photos). Fits a standard sized candle. Each is marked "Alessi A. Mendini 2002" on underside. Designed and made in Italy.
Each base is 3.5" x 3.5" and the height is adjustable.
