The individual elements can thus be repeated or newly combined. In 1962/63 he developed the central motifs of the crucifixion, the tearing of the lamb or the Dionysian feast in his first actions. In 1965, a new element was added, the so-called “penis irrigation”. In this body collage the penis of a passive actor is doused with blood and eggs and covered with meat, offal or sanitary towels. From the 8th to the 11th action, Nitsch worked on the formal language and aesthetic realisation of this motif, with Rudolf Schwarzkogler as an actor and Siegfried Klein taking the photographs. After that, Franziska Cibulka photographed Nitsch’s “penis irrigations” with her husband Heinz, who became Nitsch’s most important actor for the following 10 years. With her strictly frontal camera angle, she came closer to Nitsch’s aesthetic intentions than Siegfried Klein. The offered image shows the action of 6 September. Das dramaturgische Konzept von Hermann Nitschs „Orgien-Mysterien-Theater“ (OMT) folgt einem in Partituren festgelegten Handlungsablauf mit rituellem Charakter. Die einzelnen Elemente können so wiederholt oder neu kombiniert werden. Die zentralen Motive der Kreuzigung, der Lammzerreißung oder des dionysischen Festes formulierte er 1962/63 in seinen ersten Aktionen. 1965 kam ein neues Element hinzu, die sogenannte „Penisbespülung“, deren Formensprache und Umsetzung Nitsch in vielen kleineren Aktionen entwickelte. Bei dieser Form der Körpercollage wird der Penis eines passiven Akteurs mit Blut und Eiern übergossen sowie mit Fleisch, Innereien oder Damenbinden belegt. Von der 8. bis zur 11. Aktion arbeitete Nitsch mit Rudolf Schwarzkogler als Akteur und Siegfried Klein als Fotograf. Die weiteren „Penisbespülungen“ fotografierte Franziska Cibulka, deren Mann Heinz für die folgenden 10 Jahre zu Nitschs wichtigstem Akteur wurde. In der streng frontalen Kamera-Ausrichtung kam sie den ästhetischen Intentionen Nitschs noch weiter entgegen als Siegfried Klein. Das angebotene Blatt zeigt die Aktion vom 6. September.
