Item/Description: Incredible one of a kind original collection of Brooklyn Dodgers photographs and memorabilia. The majority of the photographs were taken by a single fan between the late 1940s and early 1950s.

Includes over 300 original photos dated between1949 and 1953. This well documented, historical picture album / scrapbook contains photographs of some of baseballs greats and most iconic games. Some of the photographs include, Jackie Robinson, Gil Hodges, Pee Wee Reese, Satchel Paige, Roy Campanella, Ralph Branca, Stan Musial, 1952 World Series, fantastic action shots and many more.

The collection also includes several memorabilia items such as Dodgers stationary, program, postcards, press photos, and other period Brooklyn Dodgers ephemera. Also includes several hand signed autographs by baseball greats such as Pee Wee Reese, Yogi Berra, Ralph Branca and Phil Rizzuto. Several of the photos have detailed hand written notes on the back which may indicate players, dates, places etc. Not all photos and items have been shown in the images provided as there are too many to display. (Major League Baseball, MLB, Sports Collectible, Baseball Card Memorabilia, Hall Of Fame, Dem Bums).

Condition: Virtually all photographs are in very good condition with some containing minor creasing. Album cover is separated and black album paper has many areas of chipping, tears and paper loss at edges. Original owner placed a plastic material over almost all the photographs. The plastic can be removed and seems to have protected the photographs.
