Agapito Labios (1898-1996) Mexican Folk Art Girl Oil Painting. Signed and framed. Depicts girl wearing dress, hair styled in pigtails with ribbons. Girl is holding a candle. Agapito Labious (1898-1996) was born in Mexico. His art career started in prison, where he began painting on the walls to pass the time as he served a sentence for his participation in the Mexican Revolution. Without frame measures 12.75"x 16.75". With frame measures 15.25" x 19.25".
