Description
The galleried circular top with serpentine edge tilting above a bird cage support and stop a fluted baluster standard, raised on scroll carved cabriole legs ending in claw and ball feet. Note on bottom states, "a related Anglo-Chinese rosewood tilt-top tripod table, second half of 18th century sold, Sotheby's, New York April 16-17, 1988, lot 749 ($160,000 hammer price).
Condition
Good. Scratches and signs of wear. Outer rim seems to have had damage and professional repair.
