Baron du Reuilly's account of his travels in the Black Sea area, focused primarily on trade and commerce but including chapters on coins, medallions and antiquities as well as general descriptions of the area and people. The maps include a large foldout map of Crimea and southern Ukraine by J.B. Poirson, with Odesa, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Sebastopol, Balaclava, and other towns and city shown (it is foxed with offset and a short stub tear). The smaller map is a plan of Sebastopol. Institutional rubberstamps to title page and prelims.
