Description
Large lithograph print entitled "View on the Hudson at West Point" by American lithographer Frederick Blumner (mid 19th century). Hand colored lithograph. This lithograph is dated to around 1861, and shows a view of the Hudson River in upstate New York. Many ships are visible, including a steamship named "Mary Powell". Also visible is the United States Military Academy at West Point, at this time only a small building. Condition: discoloration, foxing evident. Possible spots of water damage, especially on edges, and enters plate in lower right. Colors have faded. Matted and framed. Not inspected out of frame.
