Jules Cheret, French 1836-1832. An original Cheret poster titled "BAL AU MOULIN ROUGE" published in 1889 - guaranteed authentic. A copy of the original appraisal record and purchase receipt included. Measures within mat 48 3/4" x 34 3/4". Overall frame size is 53 1/2" x 39 1/4".

The print has not been examined out of frame and part of border is excluded from image due to matting - note the existence of fold marks where it was originally folded into quarters - there is a small section that has been professionally replaced within the print (see the photo of the lady's waist and you will notice slightly duller colors) - the replaced part is irregular shape and extents from the lady's waist to wrist, approximately 7"L x 1"H.
