Second quarter of the 20th Century.
The portrait of woman in Spanish Colonial influence garb and an impressive squash blossom necklace is signed lower right.
Ramon Froman is known for capturing a distinct mood with his portraits of Native Americans. As art instructor, he taught painting at the Froman School of Art in Cloudcroft, New Mexico for twenty-three years.
Canvas measures 27.5 x 19.5 with a framed size of 31.5 x 26.5 inches.
