The Rudolph Wurlitzer Company (American, est. 1853) Rare Art-Case Grand Piano, Model 770, 1941 Lacquered wood, Lucite 7' Serial # 207657 Designed by William Zaiser and introduced at the 1940 Chicago Music Trade Show, this piano is one of a just a few of this model actually produced by the firm. A professional and comprehensive assessment by Texas Piano Restoration states "overall the piano is still in very good condition for its age. It still plays well and any tuning should remain stable. It could be much improved by restringing and regulating the action."

This piano is currently stored and must be collected from a Dallas area piano storage facility. A detailed evaluation has been prepared by Texas Piano Restoration and is available upon request. Please contact the Design department for further information or to review the technical evaluation.
