Pair of French Bronze Dore et Patine Figural Candelabra
first quarter 19th century, now mounted as lamps, the bronze patine figure of "Victory" supporting gilt-bronze flower-molded wreaths set with leaf-molded cornucopia-form candle branches terminating in candle sockets with flower-molded rims, the figures resting on drum-form bases on square plinths, mounted with shades.

Condition
Elegant lot in overall very good condition with crisp details throughout.
The patinated figures with minor rubbing at the high points; the gilt-bronze with typical scattered oxidation
consistent with age.
Both plinth bases with a circular plastic on/off switch at the rear, possibly Bakelite. Both have dual bulb
sockets.
Currently with different finials. The top of shade height is 33".
Both with custom pleated and smocked silk shades trimmed in gold passementerie gimp.
