Description
Large Famille-Rose vase with intricately painted decoration(porcelain multi-coloured flower and picture design) of peacocks, blossoming trees and double handles to neck. To the face temple scene of lords, attendants, and dignitary. Qianlong 1739-1795, Qing Dynasty. This lot includes an original Hong Kong Art Craft Merchants Association Limited Certificate of Antiquity (COA) dated September 16th 1975. 23 1/2" H x 7 3/4" W, custom stand included.
Provenance: Wong collection, Los Angeles, CA, US, Mr. Wong was a Hong Kong government translator and court interpreter and amassed his collection in Hong Kong during the mid-1900's-1978.
