Lacking frontispiece signed by Jasper Johns in lower margin, which also contains limitation statement and numbering. ”This was the second of several Arion books edited and introduced by Vendler, who is considered the foremost scholar and critic of poetry in the United States. It was she who suggested that Hoyem approach Jasper Johns to be the artist for the book”. - Bibliography of the Arion Press, 17.

Condition

Minor stains on cloth, with fraying on morocco. Lacking signed frontispiece; else very good.
