Typical wear to this example, the pommel nut having been tool-turned, cross guards showing typical wear and scratches but still entirely acceptable. Lower crossguard stamped 'Wm' on the reverse. Tiger-grain wood grip with well-set SA button and eagle, both in very good condition. 'Alles fur Deutschland' motto on blade has lost most of its original darkening, though the blade itself is free of rust and corrosion and has only typical running marks. Well-marked by the maker. Anodized scabbard is straight, the tip only bearing a few tiny dents, but a vandal at one time filled the pre-existing screw holes with solder. Still very good.
